The wedding's over, now what!?

So the big day has come and gone and you may have had a honeymoon to really let the married life sink in. Then I send your photos through! This post is designed to help my couples understand how to download, store, share and print your wedding photos that I have just sent through.

Every couple will get their own special link emailed directly to them first. This will allow you to enjoy going back over your memories with your love one first before doing anything with them. This link will take you to a Pixieset gallery, the service I use for online delivery.

When I first viewed my wedding photos with my new wife, we waited and went through them together by connecting a laptop to our television and selecting the 'Slideshow' option at the top of our gallery (Play Button).

Downloading

Pixieset allows gallery, favourite and individual photo downloading . The following video is a great demonstration of how to download a gallery onto your computer and phone. Downloading will always give you the best quality image on your device rather than taking screen shots of your images. You have spent lots of time and effort into planning and realising your wedding, don't post low quality photos.

Storing your Photos

As long as I am still in business your wedding photos will always be available via my online gallery that I provide you with. I also have a backup copy of your wedding gallery permanently stored on physical backup hard drives as well. But the best practice is to always download and store your wedding gallery in two secure locations. I suggest to use a computer to download the full wedding gallery and to store this on a large enough USB or storage hard drive, as well as on your computer. Phones are great and downloading and sharing individual images.

Sharing your Photos

Let the world see the newly married couple! By now you have probably shared a preview image that I have provided closely after your wedding date, but now people get to see the finer details. You can share your entire gallery to friends and family who attended your wedding using the same link that I have provided to you. Don't worry, they cannot accidentally delete or remove any images from this link. Whoever has access to this will be able to download photos as well, which they can use to provide wedding gifts for you. To share to social media, I suggest finding the individual images you would like to post, opening it on your phone and selecting the download icon (Downwards arrow). This will ask you to enter an email address and will download the image. If you are using an iPhone make sure you hold down on the image to select the options that saves the image to your camera roll. From here you can now post your image to social media.

Printing your Photos

The great thing about my online delivery service is it also has its own webstore. This allows you to select your favourite images and print them in a large range of ways, from a coffee cup to full sized wall hanging images and books. This is done by selecting 'Print Store' at the very top of your gallery, right underneath your display image. This will allow you to select the photographs you would like to print and see what they look like on different products. Another great way of printing the images yourself is to place the images you would like print onto a USB drive and going to Kmart or Officeworks. Both have machines or attendants that can help you print your images in a range of sizes.
